With most providers, when deliverability issues arise, they suggest that paying more for a dedicated IP address will fix the problems. We believe that's an abdication of responsibility to ensure your emails reach customers every time. It’s our job to provide you with great deliverability with or without dedicated IP addresses.
Whether you send thousands of emails or millions of emails, you’ll see the same quality of deliverability across our entire service. You'll be hard-pressed to find a provider more willing to stand by the quality of their shared IPs than Postmark. If or when the time comes that a dedicated IP address makes sense, we'll set you up on one, but we won't charge extra for it.

There’s no VIP section for support with Postmark. You can email us and usually hear back in a couple of hours, or you can reach us via live chat during business hours. If you’re having delivery problems, we’ll never tell you to just upgrade to a dedicated IP address. We’ll dive in and help you get to the bottom of things.
When it's time for troubleshooting, nobody logs and retains more helpful details about the event history and content of messages than Postmark.
While SparkPost provides 10 days of message event history, Postmark provides a full 45 days of both message events and full content rendering to all accounts. If you need to maintain more than SparkPost's 10 days of history, they recommend using their webhook and doing it yourself, and even then, you'll only have events. You won't have any details about the message content. With Postmark, you'll never again have to wonder exactly what happened to an email when a customer emails support.

Absolutely. We don't charge extra when you need help. All of our customers receive the same incredible support regardless of how much you spend with us.
No. However, we advise against dedicated IP addresses for most customers. Until you're at an incredibly high volume, you'll see better results using one of our shared IP addresses. While most providers see delivery issues on their shared IP addresses, we monitor ours carefully to ensure great delivery. You'll never hear us suggest that you pay us more money for better delivery. We stand by the delivery of all of our services with or without dedicated IP addresses.

You’re never left with the hassle and expense of switching between monthly plans when your volume fluctuates. Postmark scales alongside you, and rewards your success with larger discounts as your volume increases.
We’ll send you a series of emails when your credits drop below 15% of your last purchase so you know it’s time top-up. If you have auto-renewal enabled, we’ll automatically top up your credits when you’re balance drops to 10%. If you run out of credits, we’ll stop accepting API requests from your app until you top-up your account.
The more credits you buy in a single purchase, the greater the discount you get. Our rates range from $1.50 per 1,000 credits to $0.25 per 1,000 credits. If you pre-purchase in larger quantities, we can even offer larger discounts.
