With SparkPost you'll need to pay extra for their "Premium" Add-On Plan to get Global ISP relations and mediation and deliverability data analysis, we handle this for all of our customers at no charge because, as an email service provider, we believe that's our responsibility to you.
At Postmark, great deliverability isn't an up-charge. We don't just claim great deliverability. We share live delivery data so you can judge for yourself.
With most providers, when deliverability issues arise, they suggest that paying more for a dedicated IP address will fix the problems. We believe that's an abdication of responsibility to ensure your emails reach customers every time. It’s our job to provide you with great deliverability with or without dedicated IP addresses.
Whether you send thousands of emails or millions of emails, you’ll see the same quality of deliverability across our entire service. You'll be hard-pressed to find a provider more willing to stand by the quality of their shared IPs than Postmark. If or when the time comes that a dedicated IP address makes sense, we'll set you up on one, but we won't charge extra for it.
You shouldn't have to pay for an upgraded version of dedicated support. At Postmark, amazing support is included for everyone.
Customer feedback gathered through Help Scout over the past 60 days.
There’s no VIP section for support with Postmark. You can email us and usually hear back in a couple of hours, or you can reach us via live chat during business hours. If you’re having delivery problems, we’ll never tell you to just upgrade to a dedicated IP address. We’ll dive in and help you get to the bottom of things.
When it's time for troubleshooting, nobody logs and retains more helpful details about the event history and content of messages than Postmark.
While SparkPost provides 10 days of message event history, Postmark provides a full 45 days of both message events and full content rendering to all accounts. If you need to maintain more than SparkPost's 10 days of history, they recommend using their webhook and doing it yourself, and even then, you'll only have events. You won't have any details about the message content. With Postmark, you'll never again have to wonder exactly what happened to an email when a customer emails support.
Save time getting started with our thoroughly documented, pre-built, and exhaustively tested transactional email templates.
Postmark offers a full set of pre-built and exhaustively tested transactional email templates to help you get started. For each of these templates, we've also written extensive guides about best practices for configuration, usability, engagement, copywriting, and more.
Whether you need more templates or just want to custom-build your own set of templates, we've built and open-sourced MailMason, a complete toolset to streamline building and updating a set of consistent transactional emails. It makes it easier build your transactional emails by enabling you to use partials, automatically inline your CSS (or SCSS), test emails in Litmus, automatically generate text equivalents, and much more.
Postmark blows every other transactional email product out of the water.
On top of all the tracking info, in almost four years with Postmark, I can’t remember a single time an outage impacted our business.
We‘ve grown from sending 0 to 200,000 transactional emails daily, and Postmark helped us a lot with scaling that process.
Love the fact @postmarkapp are publicly sharing their status and deliverability details.
Made the switch to @postmarkapp today. The customer service and delivery rates are awesome, but the thing I love is EVERYTHING IS YELLOW!
...I love the new templates feature in postmark, BTW! that’s already saving me some time. Look nice too.
Personal experience of working with a few other providers recently is that @postmarkapp definitely seems to have the upper hand on speed.
Wow, @gmail deliveries via @postmarkapp is really fast, ~1s! Seems to have an excellent #ISP reputation. #transactional #mails #service

All new accounts start off on our free developer plan with 100 emails per month. Use it for however long you need, it doesn’t expire.
Dedicated IPs are available at no charge to high-volume senders. Read why we think they’re a bad idea for other senders.
Extra emails on our paid plans are calculated at the end of your billing cycle and included with your plan cost for the upcoming month.
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, and JCB. We do not accept PayPal or Purchase Orders.
By focusing on transactional email only, ISPs can build a reputation on consistent, high engagement messages. This allows us to have extremely fast delivery to the inbox without tarnishing our reputation from large promotional email campaigns that sit in the queue.
