We’ve always been big advocates for email authentication at Postmark, going back to 2010 when we were one of the first email service providers to support DKIM. There’s a really simple reason we support DKIM, SPF, and DMARC: they make the Internet a better place for all of us by making it harder to send spam and easier to keep tabs on where your email originates.
In 2014 we released our DMARC tool, a free resource that turns your XML DMARC reports into a beautiful, human readable digest. A few weeks ago we shared a new resource, a guide to make it easier to understand how DMARC works and know exactly what your DMARC report is telling you.
Chris spent weeks creating the DMARC guide, and many of you have shared it and used it to get DMARC setup for your domains. Now, we’re going to put our money where our mouth is to help increase the adoption of DMARC.
100,000 credits ($150 value) just for supporting DMARC #
To really show how serious we are about DMARC, we decided to give 100,000 free credits to every Postmark account with a DMARC record setup and a custom return-path in place. This is a $150 value, and you can get them for free by completing these two tasks:
- Create a DMARC record for an email domain you use on Postmark. An easy way to do this is to sign up for Postmark’s DMARC tool.
- Setup a custom return-path.
And you’re done. Once you’ve added your DMARC record and set up your custom return-path, email email@example.com and we’ll add 100,000 credits to your account. For completing 10 minutes of work, you’ll do more than get $150 of free email processing. You’ll be on your way to improving the email security of your domain too.
